Soil, water, nutrients, sunlight and air are essential for the growth of plant life. Likewise nutritious food, shelter, good health services, education, employment and a good environment are essential for human development from birth to death.
In developing countries such as Sri Lanka, People face untold difficulties in fullfilling the above needs. As a result they inherit backward and debilitating life conditions which are a very common feature in Asian countries.
The intention and the function of the Human Resource Management and Development Foundation is to help overcome the dependent mentalities of such communities by providing them the required knowledge and technical training to live independently with a global awareness.
